Definition

This is also known as a Cover Letter. A document sent with your resume to provide additional information about your skills and experiences to an employer. It is intended to provide detailed information on why you are qualified candidate for the job.

Guideline to Write

Length:
No more than 1 page long

Fromat Page and margin:
Sigle-spaced with a space between each paragraph

Font:
Use Traditional Font like: Times New Roman, Calibri, Arial with size 10-12.


Section

Heading:
Name, Addres, Phone number, Email

Salutation:
Polite Greeting (Dear sir/madam)

Body Of Letter:
1st Paragraph: job You apply for, vacancy you see
2nd paragraph: The most important detail about you
3rd paragraph: Thankyou to the employer and follow-up information

Complementary close
Polite Close: Sincerly yours

      The requirements requested by each company will likely differ depending on which company is opening the job and what position is required.

      So, if you want to apply to a company. . . , read carefully what the company asks for as a requirement
