Descriptive Text

 🔸بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ🔸

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

come back to see me here, Muhammad Aziz. in this blog will discuss about subject matter
of English 12th grade high school. without waiting any longer, here it is.

Definition

Descriptive text is a type of text that describes a certain person, object or place so that the reader can imagine as if what is being told is real. The purpose of descriptive text is to describe and reveal or describe the characteristics of people, objects, animals, places and others. Desciptive text is made without doing detailed research, so the writer only writes descriptive text based on what is seen and heard.

Structur of Descriptive Text

    1. Opening: Contains a general introduction to the object to be described.
    2. Description: Description contains an explanation / depiction of something, both living things and inanimate objects, by mentioning several descriptions, characteristics, characters, or anything related to the description of something in question.

Example

The Ramlie Musofa Mosque

Jakarta has a lot of hidden tourism potential, namely the Ramlie Musofa Mosque. Ramlie Musofa Mosque is located at street Danau Sunter Selatan 1 block 1 10 number 12 C 14 A, North Jakarta. Located across Lake Sunter, this mosque looks stunning with white like the Taj Mahal. This mosque was built by Chinese converts. H. Ramli, this mosque is called Ramlie Musofa, which stands for the three children of Haji Ramli, namely Muhammad, Sopian, and Fabian (shortened to Musofa)

The mosque's architecture is similar to the Taj Mahal Monument in India, both of which have three domes. The composition of the location and the size comparison between the variables are also similar. The small towers surrounding the three domes are also similar. Plus all the buildings are also white, making the eye feel like seeing a mini Taj Mahal in Jakarta. the difference is only in the 4 large pillars that surround it, the Ramlie Musofa Mosque does not have it.
The reason for building this mosque is the same as the reason for the construction of the Taj Mahal. the reason for building the Ramlie Musofa mosque is as a symbol of love, the first love for Allah, the second for Islam and the third for his family.

When going to the prayer room, on the wall of the outer staircase there is the letter Al-Fatihah calligraphy and its meaning written in Indonesian and Chinese, which is also one of the uniqueness of the mosque. And there is also the letter Al-A'la writing on the inside of the dome, which is still presented in three languages, namely Arabic, Indonesian and Chinese.

Standing on 2,000 meters of land, the white-nuanced Ramlie Mosque looks even wider with the right color selection. The two-story mosque building also provides two elevators for elderly, disabled and pregnant women.

The beauty of this mosque increases when the night and the lights are turned on. The beauty of the white mosque is decorated with beautiful lights as if this building doesn't look like a mosque, but like a magnificent and luxurious palace.

Conclusion:

The conclusion is that descriptive text is a text that describes something, it can include places, people and others. The descriptive text does not require further research, it is only limited to what the author saw and heard in explaining the object.

why just because of love, Mr Ramlie wanted to spend his money to build this magnificent mosque. And again the shape is inspired by the Taj Mahal in India?

    1. Welcome back !

for the reason his love is not lowly love. His love was very high, the first for Allah, the second for Islam and the third for his family. That's why he dared to build a beautiful mosque, masyaallah. . .

The story is also the same as the Taj Mahal in India. Because he wanted to prove his love, he finally built a magnificent palace which is still standing today

      Regards,
